Moving to a non Virgin area...oh dear!!

I am about to move(again) and Virgin BB is not avail. The ADSL line is 0.6 -1.8 meg.
If i go suoerfast ADSL etc then it would work out at £30 pm not including TV.

Anyone know of any super deals? I cannot do much on 1.8meg lol

I'm guessing BT Infinity is not an option either?
Some places in the UK - especially rural areas - still suffer with very bad connection speeds.

I was told I could only have 2.5MB connection then discovered my exchange was fibre enabled even though not advertised (some ISP's are in the dark - I was told several times NO FIBRE )

I Was lucky enough to get the full 80/20 fibre

When I moved a few years ago, having VM available was one of the main reason I chose where I am now over the other place I was considering.
As soon as I found out there was no VM in the other one the decision was made - I cannot do without fast internet.

Just get the fast ADSL for £30 a month - it's hardly extortionate and you'd spend that down the pub in a couple of hours with your mates.

I'm talking about doing rounds, £20 a round easy with a few mates, over a few hours.

Smoke 20 less cigs a week, eat one less mcdonalds/kfc/takeaway... get healthy while paying for the new internet.

What provider are you going for?, my speed is a crappy 1.5 mb can't get VB, my other options are for fiber optic but the speed quoted is 4mb that's it?

I am going to go BT or sky as both offer a min or 40meg. It's a pity i can't take my virgin account as i get 100meg for £20pm on a deal.

shit me, what virgin deal is that? I seem to get fucking 10meg at best and I'm being charged £27 squids (cabled too). Do you have to request upgrades from virgin?
