Hi Guys,

After installing Chrome on my fresh hard drive Malwarebytes keeps flagging up PUP.Optional.Aartemis.A but I cannot find it anywhere!

How do I remove this crap?

latest malwarebytes should of removed it, have you removed any unwanted toolbars & pluggins in chrome if there is any with it being a fresh install.
good guide here you will need malwarebytes, adware cleaner & JRT, hitman pro [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Generally speaking this should do the job:

remove any unwanted programs, check suspicious entries too.
open chrome, go to settings, check what page is set to homepage and in the list of pages to open when chrome is launched (even if that option is unchecked) and delete any bad entries.
manage search providers and remove any bad ones.
to to extensions and remove any that aren't needed.
run adw cleaner
run mbam

It looked to me like its a cookie linked to delta-search, easylife app or helperbar if the details are anything to go by.
As per above, full scan will kill it. Probably a piggy back program from something else.
