TBH mate i find eset very unobtrusive and not bloaty at all, mines running on few fairly old pc's, just pops up as and when it detects and quarantines them without any having to do anything

I use Malwarebytes and have found it to be really useful.

So nobody bothers with the adblock plugins? Used malwarebytes for years but for prevention, since using 'the adblocks', all the infested sites I insist on using give me absolutely no bother. That would keep the installs down to 1(iiiish)?

    PC set-up routine:

    • Use IE to download firefox
    • Eradicate IE with knives and fire
    • Download mbam (and secure a copy of rkill on a spare pen drive, just in case)
    • Install all the adblock plugins (three at the moment)
    • Relax with cup of duchess grey and a finger of victoria sponge whilst perusing a newspaper through a monocle

+1 for eset - the only AV I'm prepared to pay for - sensible price and does exactly what it says on the tin quickly and quietly in the background

    Thanks to Northernbloke

No pretty much the same here but I only run one Adblock plus plugin add ever and change the Victoria sponge for chocolate fudge cake 😆
