Hi Guys,
I've almost got my computer setup exactly how I want it but currently I do not have an anti virus installed. What anti virus do you use?
Do any of you use a firewall program or do you rely on VM etc?
Thanks guys

All of the software is clean except chrome! Which is unreal!
I'd like to keep the installation to an absolute minimum. So eest looks to be the number one choice at the moment.

I use nod32 for antivirus - just bang in a new trial code every month no probs
Firewall I don't bother with but would use comodo if I did
wipe my pc and re-install from an image every cpl months anyhow
I use mbam pro (bought a lifetime licence, stupid not to at under £20!), and Eset smart security (purchased). If you buy multi-user,multi-year licences they are as low as £10/user/year. If you want a discounted Eset licence then PM me, this offer is open to VIP and staff (I already got permission for this last year). I get different offers each month, sometimes I can get you 25% off RRP, sometimes I can get you 4 years for the price of 3, not sure if there are any incentives this quarter but I can check.

I do the same as Prezzy. Just google eset nod32 keys. There is a facebook page with them on. I update when it finishes the trial - done it quite a few times now.
yep if they weren't work machines id run these also
Malwarebytes and MSE for me.
I used to use MSE for friends until MS announced it was now recommending people use something else, I have used avast free on few friends but it would drive me mental lol

I just checked and there are no incentives for me to pass out on consumer licences this quarter but I can get a small discount still. Next quarter I would expect some incentives as Q1 and Q2 I could offer an extra year free on 2+ year licences.

Kaspersky internet security +
Malwarebytes pro
Never have a problem
I use malwarebytes pro (got the lifetime one when it was about £12)
also Bitdefender Total Security, this came out top in most reviews so gave it a go.
I have had no problems but plenty of warnings so they both are doing a good job.
I also do a total back-up after installing all I need and I use it 2 or 3 times a year, for
the sake of 15 mins it keeps my pc fresh and fast.
Avast Free / Malwarebytes Free. I like to keep things simple and FREE.
I always find flaws in Paid-for software, usually the price, so avoid them... plus, I'm a tight fisted old cunt.
However, not had any seriously viruses/malware problems in over 3 years and frequent many dodgy sites daily... including this one!
