Wasps... Love or loathe them...

Wasps. Most people don't like them but they can prove useful. Not too sure what this one was planning, but it did grab hold of a dandelion seed. To be honest, at first I thought it had maybe been bitten by a spider and had web on it, but on close examination, it was the said seed. Anyhow, either way, I think it was possibly dying as the wasp was rather lethargic, and reasonably co-operative!

Great shots m8, last one tells the tale really of why wasps are cunts especially from now on in the year. The Queen wasps get these workers (female) to look after her baby / larvea for her and they fly around catching bugs and grubs and take them back to the nest to feed the baby queens. When they feed the baby queens the catipillars or whatever they caught the larvae poop out a little jelly thing as a reward and the wasp eats it, this jelly is really sweet and very addictive.
When all the larvea turn into little queens they fly off looking for their own nest site for the next year and the worker wasps no longer have a job, they have worked for months building the nest and feeding the babies in return for their "fix" now nothing.....they are now unemployed junkies and look around for any fix they can get, that is when they find your fruit trees and jam pots, ice creams etc and are angry and hostile, rotten fruit is ideal for them as its very sweet and also gets them pissed - unemployed junky alcoholics.....they die after this as when the fruit etc goes and the weather get cooler they have nowhere to go.
