Default Two Hovers, Unknown Bug and Honeys from a distance.

    Eristalis....

    Episyrphus balteatus (f)

    Unknown Bug

These last two were taken with my 100-400mm - Natural light. They are the same flowers just at slightly different angles producing the very different backgrounds. Location - Friends front garden in Kirkby Malzeard (Yorkshire)

    Nice bokeh on #5 m8.

Isn't the bug one of the Miridae? A Red Bug perhaps (the black variant) Deraeocoris ruber.

    Paul.
