I use one to connect to my home network. I feel it's slightly more secure than opening ports / port forwarding as there is only one point of entry.

Same as mystical, came with usenet. Now use it so the Mrs can watch TV from home (Poland). Also use it to connect home from unsecured student network in work.

I think it's coming to an end for me. Not used Usenet since nzbmatrix shutdown and been using torrents and don't upload. I only grab films ripped from bluray so they aren't out much earlier than their actual release. Its getting to the point where its not worth trying to constantly hide what I'm doing online and to just pay for the content. If you are paying for Usenet, then VPN then kids want Netflix etc it starts adding up.
