WANTED AN SSD 80GB-120GB

yup decided going to give an ssd a bash so after one used if someone is upgrading etc to better one

looking for something 80-120gb along the lines of a crucial m500 or maybe samsung evo as read they seem pretty good

going to try it in my n54l and portable caddy just ordered and if any good my stick it in my big rig for the os drive

will sata iii work in a sata ii caddy also ??

can get m500 120gb from crucial for £53 and Sammy is about £56 so what you got please peeps as wanna test one before order a few for all machines

Sata III will work on II. But will loose a small throughput.

Got an OCZ Vertex in mine, got it off someone on here lol. Its the best thing I got for my PC.
When you do get one look out for a program called SSDlife. This tells all about your SSD and how it performs.
There's bios settings you can tweak to make it run that lil tad faster also

You will instantly notice the bootup times. mines around 20 seconds after bios initialisation. and from hibernate takes less than 5 seconds
