Well the title says it all - quite possibly the most original title you have seen, no? Oh!

So an introduction:

I'm Carl, I'm old - not so old to push off the coil, probably old enough to know better but refuses to learn! Father of 1, annoying husband to (also) 1

Based in Leamington Spa, work in Bournville (yes on that chocolate makers site) and I work in IT (Service Desk, bounced around & now Config. Manager...skillset decreasing at a massive rate) so the questions I am going to end up asking or contributing too will have "Face Palm" written all over them, and I have a tendency to over punctuate....

Here to get info (at the minute scratching my head on Now TV, Plex, NAS boxes, or Apple TV as most of my stuff is iOS) so other than that, not a lot else to say - I think you have just about everything apart from my inside leg measurement (32" BTW) so I shall bu88er off!

This is the type of opening we like. A little effort goes a long way. Help others before yourself and you'll get on fine here.

We are all mostly middle-aged grumpy old men who, everyday, put the world to rights with our ramblings and banter. If there is something to be said or to be learnt, we share it or take the piss out of it, whilst all trying to avoid all the kids on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram... blah, blah, blah.

Remember to take a peek at some rules at the top of each forums or try to simply adhere to as much forum etiquette as you can and refrain from Post Count Boosting just to get at the information you came here for originally... for me it was a Car Radio Code - and I've been here ever since.

For the record, I know a lot about a little bit of Plex, NAS, ATV's and the NowTV.

Get involved in conversations and help where you can. Don't jump balls deep in asking questions immediately as most of the answers you're looking for are likely already here.

Welcome to Digital Forums. Forum etiquette is quite high on the list here, like in real life you treat others with respect and you equally get it back. Contributing to the threads with good constructive posts gets you noticed for all the good reasons. with time your post count will go up and you will have full use of the forum. This has been put in place to stop Spammers,Leechers and generally 1 post users that want something for nothing, they try and get it and go.

Digital forums has been going years and has a large fan base. some actually pay for the privilege and they get bonuses over non sub people. With time you will build up friends and likewise you will be seen here as someone that can contribute to the DF Community.
