    Default Ecigs on Planes?

I am flying to Italy in a couple of days with Ryanair and was wondering what the best way is to take my ecig. I can survive the journey without needing to vape so I am not asking if I can vape during the flight but should I take it in my hand luggage or put it in my suitcase?
    What about the juice?

I was thinking I should just put the battery and a couple of fresh cartos in my suitcase.

    Cheers

Not sure about that but are you planning to wear shoes? I've heard Ryanair will charge for that.

Hand luggage is the best option. Make sure the battery is charged and put the juices(if you take then) in labelled bottles and in a clear bag, I don't use cartos but probably stick them in the bag as well. Last flight I went on they had a good look and then seemed more interested in me vaping it than anything else.

I took mine in my pocket to the USA earlier this year with no problems, also managed to vape although I was keeping it on the down low.

Its better to burn out than to fade away...............

general rule is no liquids in your hand luggage so I would have thought in the hold would be the way.
Saying that, I'd have thought if theres any sort of confusion the airports would have knocked up some posters as it cant be uncommon these days.

Just back from Poland. Took full cartomiser and battery in pocket there and back, putting it in the little security crate both times.

Some airlines won't let you take anything with a toxic label so remove labels

Some also don't like lithium batteries

Clearo's and tanks can leak with the change in cabin pressure

My box mod that looked like a remote detonator made an armed Serbian security guard do a double take

Normal devices won't set off the smoke alarm in the toilet but if you're blowing mahossive clouds they can go off. You're better off craftily stealth vaping, no one will notice

I think most airlines have banned them in flights, except from Ryan Air but yo're only allowed to use the poxy ones they sell

As long as the bottle is smaller than 100ml you should be fine.

We went to Mexico earlier this year and I had my SVD iTazte (which is a big bastard) along with 2 x 10ml bottles of liquid in my hand luggage. I put it all in the tray along with my tablet and mobile so they could see that I wasn't hiding anything. I got stopped both ways ( but I always get stopped). I told then what it was and they weren't bothered.

I also had 3 x 10ml bottles in my luggage along with all my other shit like aftershave and deodorant and everything went through fine so dong worry.

My mate who works airport security generally gets arsey with people because even though the signs say bottles have to be less than 100ml, no one takes any notice and then they complain when they get stopped. Even if the bottle was 200ml but less than half empty, you'll still get stopped and have to bin it.

In case anyone is interested I flew from Stansted to Bergamo and put a half filled 50ml bottle into my liquids bag and a couple of batteries and cartos in a glasses case in my luggage. No problems at all.

they can be bit dodgy. i had my e-cig in my pocket and it snapped in half leaving the 2 battery wires exposed burning through my trouser leg into my skin. i had to part the 2 battery connectors to stop it smoking.
so no wonder they are a strict on them.
