Another Ebay whine...

So i decided a while ago that due to scammers/dishonest cunts, i was not going to sell anything on Fleabay any more.

Ok so how about buying from there?

Why is it that when i purchase something and pay instantly the seller still waits for me to post positive feedback before they leave me feedback?
I bought and paid for the item instantly via Paypal so how can i not get anything other than positive feedback? twats

alot of sellers now have feedback automated, soon as yours arrives the system auto replies with a standard feedback message.

I agree with you. I don't care any more, but I agree.
However, a mate of mine is one of those hundreds of thousands feedback power sellers and I took it up with him. As Consoles says, they have it all automated as there's no way they could physically do it manually.
Obviously I won't leave feedback until I have the item and happy with it, and if I'm not (all that) happy (but not outdone/ripped off) I tend to just not leave any feedback at all. Yeah, that means I don't get any either, and while my feedback score used to matter to me, now I couldn't give a flying toss. It's in the multiple hundreds and I'll never be a seller so it's entirely inconsequential at this stage.
eBay is so fucked up these days anyway. Does anyone but sellers *really* care that much about feedback?

True i don't really care mate, feedback means nothing really because i doubt i'm ever going to sell again, but as a seller your feedback should be on how good the goods you are selling are, speed of despatch etc.
As a buyer if i pay instantly i want the seller to acknowledge that, and the majority don't.

I'm guessing as well as automated feedback systems there is another reason.

There are some idiots on eBay who will try and hold sellers to ransom to avoid bad feedback. If a seller was to give feedback as soon as payment is made, they leave themselves totally open to these idiots.
