    Attention Galaxy s5 udate

    Hi all

I want to update my S5 to thew newest version. It is using lots of battery life lately, from 7am till 5pm it goes down to 30% without barely even using it. Would I lose my root if I were to update?

Bit of a Samsung newbie so not 100% sure. Will it even update with it being rooted?

If it's still running a stock rom then it should update Ok but I'm pretty sure you'll lose root (I always lost it on my s4 but so far I've not bothered rooting my s5). If you're not running a stock rom then you'll probably have to reflash back to a stock rom before it will recognise there is an update available and let you install it
