What do destiny cards do?

In the months leading up to Destiny's launch, Bungie has been releasing special codes that unlock extras for the online shooter. The studio has released 25 of these codes to date. Here's the full list and what each code unlocks.

There are three categories of extras that these codes offer. The first are Grimoire Cards, virtual trading cards that feature artwork on one side and information about the game's story on the other. For example, the "Warlock" card tells you a bit about that character class. Players can also earn Grimoire Cards through completing missions in Destiny.

The codes also unlock shaders and emblems. Shaders change the color of your Guardian's equipment to give him or her a little individuality. Emblems are backgrounds for your character's nameplate. Again, there's no effect on your character's actual capabilities.
