not being able to see from work, is it actually a toilet? might be a sluice style receptacle. I've seen that type of thing in some of the older hospitals I used to go to

I believe the low flush sink is for tipping stuff in and flushing away ie blood, I believe they go into a tank and not the drains

its a toilet, its got a chain FFS, weird, still I guess no one's gonna see you take a whizz.
