Strange issue with maps app on iPhone 6 plus

Hi DF members

I got me an iPhone 6 plus iOS 8.0.2 on three, pleased as hell with it all except the maps/Google maps app in that you can see your pin that's dropped & the name of your location but no map is displayed standard/hybrid/satellite, has anyone had this ?

I'd like to heart from anyone that knows what the hell I'm on about 👍

Might want to try a hard reset on your phone mate, hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the screen goes off and you have an apple logo, then release. Try it again and see what happens.

Failing that go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Settings - This will reset your settings back to factory default so you will need to go through the settings app and set your phone up again, but you will NOT loose any data (unless you have a POP email account setup as this will be removed)
