I am hoping you posted it here not only for it to get hits but also for some constructive criticism which is what it is.

this sounds like a home produced effort to me where do you get that reverb from :-( the video ok but is it just me or when she strumming the guitar its not in line with the music and also I don't think she should do the crazy eyes bit around the 1min 30 mark as really is not a good look for her :-(

It might be just me but I don't understand what's going on?

It's sending me the message that the singer is a bit mental! He did right to get shot if you ask me.

Everyone's a critic. She's better looking than me, can sing and play guitar so fair play.

My view on the song/video: I think the song is very bland. All that angst stuff is boring. The video doesn't help it at all, sadly. Nothing great to watch.
If the song is outstanding it can over-ride a bobbins video. And an *exceptional* video might make up a song's shortfalls.

She's a performer though, and she's giving it a go. 10/10 for that and good luck to her. Hope she keeps at it and makes a million.

So first I listened to the song without the video, to judge it on its own.
If it's a song that she hopes to be her break, or get a record label interested, then this isn't the one to go with. She has a pleasant tone and can play an instrument which is something alot of artists don't have. Song however is bland (though not unpleasant), poorly produced (the vocal in the first verse and the surprising electric guitar make the effort very amateurish) and about a minute too long. I could have done better with ableton and my guitar. Her verses are a tad dull and her 'lick' just before the chorus was a llittle strained and she could have done without it. The chorus is not bad and I commend her for not using any software to adjust her vocals.

So then I watched the video.
Once again, very amateurish. Then the Kate Bush part seemed quite out of place. I know what the vision of the video was, and with the right production could have been a concept that translated well. But it didn't. Her looks shouldn't play in to it as a singer/songwriter, but sadly that is the industry I'm assuming she wants to get in to. As she doesn't have that to rely on, her music needs to be exceptional before she can approach a label.

If the video had been all dark then it may have worked a little better. As it stands, it looks like the effort of a media studies student. If she paid for it, she should get her money back.

Having said all that, I would happily listen to her playing live in a pub. As I said, nice voice (nicer than mine) and she has musical ability. The hook was nice, but not quite there. Wish her all the luck with her music and she'll improve with time.

Quite enjoyed it, the vocals reminded me of the Cranberries. I think she is definately suited to the hippy chick genre, but as a rock chick? No. At the 1min 30 mark i was like 'woah' .
