You'll have no luck with Lenovo/IBM as they don't offer recovery CDs for anything lower than Windows 7.

Can you not download the drivers and just install XP manually?

    Thanks to beerman

Bugar, tried an install then when I installed graphic driver keeps crashing, thought I'd see if there was a disc about, no worries needs to be xp to run the software I need, don't really need graphics so might keep it as bog standard 16 bit.

Sounds like either faulty driver or graphics card. Maybe worth trying older/newer drivers? Also say it's an nVidia chipset in an IBM, try downloading driver direct from nVidia or whoever rather than IBM. (Or if you already did this, try it from IBM instead).

Less likely but could be a faulty graphics chipset. I have a Dell D630 with an nVidia chipset that has a slight fault - if I leave the generic drivers the laptop is stable and gets used all day every day. With proper drivers, it always crashes when the gfx start to get worked out.
