Xbox redeem code from another country

Would anyone happen to know if a redeem code (Game) from another country would work in the UK? I don't see why it wouldn't but would prefer to know 100% before purchasing it.

Not sure about redeeming codes but you can change your console region to India and purchase games for digital download at more than half the price of UK store, just add credit card details and and when it ask you for billing address when it comes to state, postcode and telephone number use details from India..

I've redeemed Ms Points from the US by logging into Xbox.com and changing my region to the US then used the Redeem Points page. Once done I changed back my region to the UK.

Changing to India! now that i might look into, I now live in OZ and the games are more expensive than back home, but i use the US store as they are about half the price of OZ,

My lad downloaded Fifa 15 from India, cost him around �30 all in.
Not sure on exactly what method he used, but did buy from India.
So savings can be had for sure.

Ok that is much better I paid i think it was about $60 US ($99 in OZ) I will check out the Indian one and see if i can get an indian IP address

Do you know if they have a different selection of games on there? as i know that they have a few different ones from the US and OZ store

You don't need a native IP address, I bought from the US store by just changing my region in the Xbox Settings, buying it, then changing back to UK.

Works fine.

There is now a 3 month gap before your allowed to change back to UK. Is this going to be a problem?

Would this also work if I bought the expansion for destiny? I'm thinking of buying it in the US via Amazon for �12.81 instead (convserion from $19.99).

Edit.
Just tried that rIKmaN and the payment details get wiped and ask to be entered again now after restart. Have to have an American address, so guessing the DLC is now region locked and us Brits get fucked on the price again.
