iPhone 6 02

I have an iPhone 6 on 02 unwanted upgrade from my sister, since I'm on EE I called 02 to find out if they could unlock it, these fcukers want £600 which is the total cost of paying for the handset on the contract! They want 02 customers to use the iPhone 6! What the best route to get an iPhone 6 on EE?

O2 started unlocking the iphone 5 for free shortly after it's release date, might be worth holding out for a little while as none of my usual places are offering iphone 6 unlocks yet. They are probably talking to you about O2 refresh where you pay off the phone and then just pay the contract fee thereafter.

Yeah that's what they said my sister is on 02 refresh plan. But seriously if the phone and plan is being paid what difference does it make? It's still your phone which you are paying for. Otherwise I'll have to swap it for someone who wants 02 or sell it and buy from eBay. How soon you think the unlock will be available?

How long is a piece of string mate. Best thing to do is wait until they are in constant stock, that way they will have more time on the phones for you rather than trying to end calls ASAP as there is a queue. You can even try the online unlock form but again wait until the backlog of orders has gone.

latetst on 3rd party O2 unlock is 2-3 weeks , direct O2 no idea, vodafone 3rd party is currently under test, my advice sell it if your not going to keep it while they still fetching a premium

As said sell it and buy one that works on your network ,it will be under warranty anyway .

o2 been messing me about, was told last week on the phone that you can unlock the iphone 6, so request form was done by customer service, 5 days later no unlock so called up asking what was taking so long, once again was told you cant unlock it yet and will have to wait. any idea when you can unlock 3rd party?? to be honest cant be bothered to sell and buy on ebay.

It is not your phone mate. Why should O2 do fuck all for you. Sell it buy a Galaxy Ace and move on.
