      RT is aesthetically the same, but it's designed for arm processors and not Intel. Apps are closed development just like apple App Store. Regular win 8 programs don't run on rt. Viruses and stuff don't apparently infect rt and there's a few other differences. It's like a proper closed shop version of windows to compete with iOS and android.
