Waiting for the Nexus 6/X. Need a replacement phone now

My Nexus 4 bust last week but I desperately need a new Android phone until the 6 or X comes out. Something cheap.

Yeps need a new phone here too now. After eagerly waiting for news of the Nexus 6, today's announcement of an expensive monstrosity is very disappointing!

Looks a fantastic phone to me. If you don't like the size, there are 100s of other handsets to choose from. Although admittedly if you want a nexus, the only choice is the year old, 5.

I think it looks lovely but Google's policy of making them easily affordable has gone out of the window.

I have been thinking about getting an iPhone 6 plus for the last couple of weeks, then saw the Nexus 6 and wanted that but I'm not sure either way at the moment.

What reason is there for a 6" phone! I might as well carry my Nexus 7 around!

My G3 has a 5.5 inch screen. The same as a 6 plus. Although the size of my phone is about 20mm smaller than an iphone. Too much bevel for my liking on the Apple phone.

I am more than happy with the size. You could easily make a 6 inch screen sized phone with the same form factor as the iphone.

I'm more interested in the Nexus 9. I've been after a new tablet for ages and I like HTC's, I like Nexus stuff and I like the size. I just hope I like the price!

I can use my G3 with one hand. Im typing this on it now. Its impossible to reach the top of the screen with my thumb though. But to be fair i normally use hold it with two hands when im typing as i did with my HTC One as its faster to type.

No. I don't think it would be comfortable for you to do so. It's possible, but not ideal.
