I'd agree with most of that. Maybe 6.5/10. It's like the film doesn't know if it wants to be a space epic or family/emotion story.

Fury is my second favourite film of the year and one for the big screen with explosions coming from every corner.

The finale is end of your seat stuff.

    It's a solid 8/10

Watched 22 jump street. Too many recycled jokes and not enough of them. 21 was 7/10. 22 is 5/10 I think.

I agree. But the end credits made me laugh, more so than most scenes in the film.

    Except one.

    Treevenge

Fkin hilarious piece of crap! 8/10

Only 16 minutes long and has Sarah and J-Roc from trailer park boys in it. And I'm sure the theme music is from cannibal holocaust.

Guardians of the galaxy (after reading recommendations on here) 8/10. Good family type film.

Trailer Park Boys Live at the North Pole, 7/10, only the live stage bits dragged it down, otherwise classic tpb.

    Interstellar

Wow where do i start? What a load of codswallop, overly long at 2.5 hours, crap soundtrack, ridiculous story, nice special effects but it's all show and no substance, i defy anyone to watch the last 45 mins of this movie and know what the fuck is going on, in fact scrub that save yourself 2.5 hours of your life and do something more interesting, like cleaning your gutter or painting the bathroom etc.

    3 Thanks given to ilscuro

    Predestination

The trailer looked good and I was hoping it would be, I found it confusing.

It dragged and the film was nothing like I expected.

    3/10

Well thats Predestination scrubbed up my download list

Just watched Carriers (2009) - thought it was pretty good. 6-7/10. All about a viral outbreak and the journey 4 friends take to get to safety.

Also watched Guardians of the Galaxy - solid 9/10, best film I have seen this year to date. "I AM GROOT" - fantastic.

Also, Geriatrics 3, I mean Expendables 3 - bored the hell out of me so giving this a 4/10

Predestination, gave it a 5/10 as i did watch all of it. Long beginning/middle, amounting to short ending which was not that great. For a sci-fi not many different scene locations.

Predestination confused the fuck out of me, maybe i'm getting old but i found the latter part of the movie more confusing than extraterrestrial, and that's saying something.

I reckon it takes the better part of an hour plus to get going. I'm not sure how I feel about it to be honest. There are some great set pieces but it's pretty heavy going too.
