I tried a hydrogen peroxide gel kit off fleabay once, it was a complete waste of time and left me with very tender gums. I would get it done at a professional outfit.

Fuck that mate..go to hygienist (dentist) i go once a year lol. Last year was my first time going dentist in like 20 years and they were pretty yellow with plaque all over the front of them..since then i bought a electric toothbrush and it hasnt come back (yet) I'm only going as there is a tint of yellow which needs to be removed!
i bought some whitening strips from canada when i was out there, they worked well
i went to my local private dentist and approached him to his computers and backups etc and we broke a deal and he done my teeth whitening for free.....what a touch now we are good pals he has given me more clients that are dentists too...Give it a shot never know!!!!!
put three quraters/cup bicarb, 1tablspoon lemon juice, 1 tblspoon vinigar and inch of toothpaste in a bowl. make a paste with a bit of water. then use that for 3 weeks

Crest whitestrips suprememe - the only home white blechinig shite that actually works!
My wife bought a kit from the states, it's basically like a gum shield that you put the whitening in and sleep with it in your mouth, it did work for her but made her teeth really sensitive for a while, like others have said going the the dentist I think it's more sensible
When I was younger I worked with a guy who used to soak his false teeth in bleach to maintain that 'Hollywood' whiteness. It was no surprise that his mental health slowly deteriorated and he was sectioned under the mental health act just before I left. Poor fucker was a nice bloke too, he used to lend you money and forget about it.

give Eucryl tooth powder a bash

i found it in my local Morrisons
I brush at least twice a day with an electric toothbrush. Spend the money and buy a really good one and not one of the £10-£20 ones that are in your local supermarket. Learn how to brush properly from a hygienist and you will have white teeth. Admittedly not "Hollywood Davinci porcelein veneer"s white but still good nonetheless.
My misses wants to get the veneers next year but they aint cheap for proper ones.

will take a look at those crest strips, tbh my teeth aren't yellow i'd just like em a bit whiter
i used to use the powder when i smoked i'll try n get some more.
i've got a £150 sonicare one matey, its the black coffees that are doing it i reckon, but thats my only vice these days so i'm loath to give it up tbh
anyone had them professionally done? what kind of prices are we talking?
:kissass
A hygenist won't get them white like you want. I see the hygenist every 3 months and I am after some whitening also as I am fed up with my teeth being a little yellow....
I was thinking of using Britesmile... It is laser whitening, followed by gum shields for home.

Coffee is a fucker - mine can turn from nearly perfect white to being noticeably discoloured with small brown spots within 3-4 weeks. I suspect it's a combination of factors - many years ago I had braces which I removed myself with a pair of wire cutters, then I sanded the cement off with some wet and dry. This left very fine grooves in my teeth which is where the stains start.
Also years ago before they really clamped down on the kits you could get them easy and I used a few - the very high strength ones (I believe over 18%) can soften your enamel making it easier to get stained in the future. I think I may have dabbled with a few of these in the past.
I'm sure it's my coffee input as the only other major factor for me is smoking - I went from unfiltered rollies to filtered to b&h gold and even tried doubling/halving my smoking for short periods just to try and see the effect but with me it's the coffee - pretty much every day I'll drink around 8 cups of coffee with 2 massive heaped spoons of coffee. If you go to a sink after having a cup and spit you will notice your saliva is quite badly coloured, I was toying with the idea of rinsing my mouth out after each cuppa as I suspect that may help.
I'm happy with the whitestrips as they are 16% so shouldn't soften the enamel, also they use an absolute minimal amount of peroxide - just a small coating on each strip rather than having to fill up a gumshield type device. Only problem I had 1'st few times was stinging gums and sensitive teeth. However dentists also use the same peroxide but higher concentrations and or longer periods - I didn't like the idea of this due to increased risk of worse sensitivity and enamel softening. Can't say I've tried the laser ones though.
Also all of the above is my opinion formulated after much reading on the net. However I am not a health expert in any way shape or form so you would be wise to do some homework.
Maybe just stop drinking black coffee?
I love it that you doubled your smoking as well, in the interest of seeing how it affected your teeth.
There's always one. The guy doesn't wanna give it up! Leave him alone!
Don't they shave your teeth down and you have to have em redone every few years?
The thing is with them veneers is unless your paying proper megabucks it always looks like your breaking some new teeth in for mister ed.
My boss in work has had them done and I never even noticed his teeth before now he looks like a tit...same goes for Stan Collymore.
