I've got a load of jpegs that are corrupted by the looks of it.
Does anybody know of any free repair software? There are a few tools out there that cost from $40 - $250.
Are there alternatives?

ive never found one that will actually do the job..

same here, I had marginal success with an program a few years ago, but I had to manually faff about with each file and maybe one in 20 attempts resulted anything more than recovering 10% of the image.
