Microsoft Surface 2 (rt) - Apps and Games

Having now purchased a 64gb Surface 2 (rt) Im interested to see what other use on them.

What are the best apps and games for the most common tasks you guys have installed paid/free?

Stuff like, a media player of choice, ebook reader, PuTTY and things like that.

So far I have:

Metro Media Player Pro (Reads from my Plex server locally so winner for me)
Nook (Like Kindle, but I own a nook, so my books and account all work well)
Teamviewer (for connecting to other PC's local and wide)
Netflix (Epic version on Surface!)
BBC News (Rubbish app, but does the job)
Google Search
FilmOn TV
TV Catchup
Asparion Clock

How are you getting on with your Surface RT? Ive just picked up a Surface Pro cheap and whilst I've not quite figured out what I'm going to use it for yet, I have to say that I do like it a lot.

I don't think I'm in a position to migrate from a 15" laptop to a 10" tablet, but if I start to use it more and my laptop less then I can see myself selling them both for a Surface 3.

At the moment I just feel like I'm not gettting the most out of it. I feel like I should be doing a bit more with it other than web browsing. And on the subject of web browsing, I must say that that the IE 10 experience is much better than Chrome. Firefox is out of the windows unfortunately as they've scrapped their Metro version, Chrome seems identical to the desktop version but the IE experience is fantastic. Very slick and I'm very surprised by it.

What are you using yours for?

Mine also came with the Type Cover which I can't say I care for very much. I can see that it would be useful when I'm doing actual work so I'm probably going to buy a cheap Type Cover - There's a guy on FleaBay selling the Italian version of the Type Cover for about £26 which is miles cheaper than the standard UK version. A few of the keys are positioned differently but if I can't remember where all the symbols are after all these years then I deserve to stick with a laptop!
