I'm also a fan of the series but I'm in two minds about it. I want to see it and love it but I can't help think they should put it to rest. Looks like a remake with a twist though.
The Sarah Connor actress sounds quite a bit like Linda Hamilton.
I just hope they don't over-CG it like most movies today.

It looked ok until the real Terminator showed up, Terminator is not Terminator without Arnie in it so to have him back is good enough for me to be eagerly waiting for this.

So the new Terminator is a reboot but not a reboot ? Either way looks good! I am trying to work out where it stands amongst the others... If you think in Terminator 2 Sara kicks off when she she's the (Good) terminator, but this seems to be set just after/during the first?

I was eagerly awaiting the trailer and wasn't disappointed. Like others on here, I love the series but hated T3. A rubbish movie cashing in on the franchise. Salvation was heading back in the right direction I thought (a really good movie even without links to Terminator IMO). As long as it just doesn't turn into a CGI-fest and kind-of returns to its roots then I think this could be epic. The casting of Amelia Clark to play Sarah Conner is inspired.

I would say this will be very popular and I agree next year has some epic movies out!

I don't think its a reboot as such, more a second attempt to do what the machines did in the original movie.
