    Question Kitchen tiles

We have just got some of those adhesive tiles for the kitchen floor.

They have a repeating pattern which I'll describe as corner sections 1,2 3 and 4.

The pattern has a small "dot" in corner 1 and a small arrow shape in corner 3.

Would you put the tiles down keeping the corners 1 & 3 always in the same place, or would you randomise each tile.

The way I always do it is find the center of the floor and run the pattern from that so all the cuts at the edges are even, I have laid a fair bit of cork pattern tile but not vinyl etc but I don't see why there would be any difference.

maybe lay them out in sets of 4 with corner 3 all together should end up with 4 corner 1s together.

You don't want shitty little bits at either end so just lay them length and width first so you get an idea of layout with regards to spacing, just starting from the middle will ensure they're the same each side but that could be with tiny awkward to cut slivers down each side and maybe tiny little squares in the corner.

    Thanks to blacksheep
