How has life changed since you joined DF?

a few months after i signed up with this username, i went to the Uefa cup final in Manchester

met a bird there, started seeing her about a year later, now we're engaged and have two kids

a chance meeting totally changed my life tbh

When i joined i was working desktop support near Blackburn and lived at home with my parents. Ive had 2 kids since, bought a house, sold up and moved to Bristol. Bought another house down here and am now a solutions architect. Never thought id move down south but it was the best thing i ever did

I was dragged here after someone on Geshtai (yeah, that forum that didn't exist) mentioned DF explaining this place is better. I believe its changed names since, but I forget what/where it is now.
Been here literally everyday ever since. Seeing as I have no social life and am now a fully fledged SMOD here I have no time for anything else. Hope you're all happy!

Since 2005, I've left 3 jobs and a wife (result). Now see my kids once a week, seeing someone else (much better) with great kids that have accepted me.
Also work for myself as a Freelance Computer Engineer for home users and businesses, but that seems to have slowed down a lot lately and looks like I might be back on the market for another full time job... anything going?

2001 for me, although wasn't there a time we all had to reregister??
2001 I would've just left uni, so been a drunken bum lol. Prob found site in relation to nefarious activities.
Now married,kids,no time for earlier said activities etc.

I don't remember re-registering. But I do remember losing all my posts. I had a few thousand. Then I disappeared for a bit and only posted 50 times in 8 years.
