    Help FreeSat Tv's

Anyone have a FreeSat TV ?
I know the freeview ones are two a penny these days, but I'm looking for a new bedroom TV and I have no digital aerial. I do have a sat cable though, so was considering a FreeSat telly.
They just seem a bit expensive at the minute, but weighed against the cost of an additional freesat box, the additional remote, the clutter, or having a digital aerial installed, I'm not so sure.

    Any thoughts DF'ers?

    Hey,

I bought a Samsung Series 8 (UE40ES8000) a couple of years ago. Was about £1300 at the time but I have seen them for roughly £400 in places.
Freesat HD was the reason I went for it as we only have Sat connections in some rooms.

I recently bought the Evolution Kit for £50 from RGB to upgrade it to the 2014 model.

It is a fantastic TV with great Smart functions (finds my stuff on the Network from my NAS box no problem) and has the built in camera for Skype. If I can find that link again I had for £400 I might buy another as we have just had an extension done.

Can you get hold of an old Sky box-I use one in bedroom (no Ariel point but have sky cable), you can get most FTA channels & if you need to get a free sat by sky card for £25 ish to get more
