WARWICK 3PM – THE NEPTUNE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT NOVICES’ HURDLE
SHANTOU BOB has really impressed so far over hurdles, winning his first two starts, before stepping up in class to go down by just a neck in a decent Grade Two contest at Sandown. The winner was Vyta Du Roc who looks a decent recruit, so that was a fair run. He stays this trip well and handles testing ground, so it is easy to see him running well.
WARWICK 3.35PM – THE BETFRED CLASSIC STEEPLE CHASE
GLOBAL POWER has shown consistent form over fences, having finished out of the first four on just one occasion in eight starts. He is an improving stayer at the right end of the handicap and with ground conditions set to be very testing, weight counts in this contest. He was just denied last time out at Fontwell, but pulled a long way clear of the third placed horse and with the testing ground no issue for him, he should run a big race.
