Eight years after the disappearance of Cassandra, some disturbing incidents seem to indicate that she's still alive. Police, parents and Cassandra herself, will try to unravel the mystery of her disappearance.
Little disappointed by this, not because I was expecting a lot, but because I expected little yet the story, cast and acting was pretty good; just it was let down by the final cut. The film constantly jumps back and forth to different years, often pointlessly and I found this to be quite confusing which in turn acted as a distraction. There is a bit of a plot twist to set this apart from other abduction films and it's a good serious performance from Ryan Reynolds.
Spoiler:There was no explanation as to how they found the van, I assume they ran out of time/budget.
At least once there was a flashback to a year where the scene lasted seconds before flashing forward years, this felt pointless
Worth a casual watch but don't build your hopes up, not a touch on Gone Baby Gone or Prisoners.
