I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse

Didn't have high hopes for this and I was right not to. Looks like it's a Big Brother/Crystal Maze combo. Digital effects are horribly overused resulting in very little of the programme actually showing clearly what the participants are up to. Also, it's far too scripted, it has to be for the format to work but it also ruins it. They couldn't for example have them be overrun and everyone killed as it would put the series to an end so the zombies are clearly instructed not to catch up to them. Finally, and I realise that they couldn't exactly have chunks bitten out of the contestants but the way they get infected is by being touched - basically making it a game of tag.

I'm not sure if it's a terrible idea for a show or just badly executed.

Was disappointed with Release the Hounds too as you could see that the dog were not the angry ones you see in the cages just some out for a gentle play :-(
