Anyone else having problems with data on 3?

For the last couple of weeks I've been having massive problems with data on my phone. Often the phone will claim to have a network connection (and my SIP client works fine showing my internet connection is working), but I am unable to browse any sites. Most times putting phone into airplane mode until it kills all connections then turning it back to normal works, sometimes I may need to do this 2 or 3 times, sometimes I need to wait until I move to another area.

Suspected my phone was screwed, but I called 3 who said in all the areas I specified I was having difficulty all seem to have major upgrade work being carried out, and to hold out changing phone until this was done (was quoted near end of this month).

Ended up getting another phone today and seem to have the exact same issue.

I'm sure Mobileman mentioned something about 3 and Vodafone merging which makes me wonder if they are having a massive reorganisation prior to a public announcement, but didn't think to notify customers that they would not be able to use services they have paid for and come to depend on.

Is it just me, or anyone else been having similar issues recently?

I'm on three and have the same issue, tbh thought it was my phone playing up!
like you I have been using the airplane mode to switch off the network signal and back on.

Daughters on three but she hasn't said anything, so I'll check with her later to see although she doesn't use data much.

one thing i have noticed is that i cannot get my 365 mail downloaded but can for all my other accounts, yet it does work via the owa app.

Yes I've experienced for the first time in 4 years a poor data connection with Three, hope its a temporary thing.
