    Info 12 monkeys

Just watched a couple of episodes of new tv series, 12 monkeys.

About a time traveller who returns to try and stop a virus in the future. A few things are a bit unbelievable but kept me amused.

Its been so long since i watched the film its probably a good thing as not sure if it follows that story or not.

Personally think they have become a bunch of lazy bastards, turning 2 hour movies into 20 hour + tv shows, stories already be done, not much to see tbh.

I've not watched it, I did think about it but I'm starting to go off time travel for the simple reason it's all too easy to go back in time and 'fix things'.

Haven't read anything about it, so is that what it is then the movie remade into a tv series?

    Sure is

Follows the journey of a time traveler from the post-apocalyptic future who appears in present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will eventually decimate the human race.

Loved the film so will give this a try. Will probably be disappointed. SyFy seem to be making more of their own TV recently and have liked 1 or 2 other shows.

Thanks for the heads up, had no idea.

Watched the two episodes today and thought they were good enough to warrant watching the 3rd.
Actually quite good and better than what I was expecting.

give the pilot a chance before you knock it.

Sorry this went down hill for me from 3rd one, haven't bothered watching it anymore.

It may have picked up but lost interest when there was a whole episode in his time zone.
