    Attention dridex removal malwarebytes?

    Hi Guys,

Spaced out this morning and opened/enabled macros on a word doc, luckily I realised what I done and hit Alt F4 on everything and managed to kill the hidden download window which said 'Do you wish to cancel the transfer"

Cancelled and pulled the ethernet cable just in time I think.

I rebooted and scanned with Malwarebytes and ESST which picked up the temp files. I have run disk cleaner on all drives and cleaned all internet history. Luckily I do not store any passwords, they are all in LastPass.

I'm currently running Trend Microscan Housecall which is an online scanner.

Other than a slap, do you have any other advise?

I've just come across this, installed Eset Endpoint Security to replace Security essentials, Eset then started blocking most programs for running as DRIDEX.S had infected explorer.exe and was running in the memory. Ran a full eset scan, it removed all found threats but still DRIDEX persisted. Rebooted and it seems to be ok now, will run rkill and MBAM to be sure though.
