      Default I now pronounce you: Mr and Mrs Columba livia

      A horrendously bright day for photos, but saw this lady lying on a step in the middle of town. Never been so close to a bird; she didn't move as I approached her so I assume there was something wrong (injured or pregnant or whatever, what do I know about birds?).



      Only managed a couple of snaps before the old man stepped in to protect her:



      Just came across them going through pictures from the summer; thought the colouring on their collars showed up quite nicely.
