Never really had anything to do with samsung phones or pads but was getting quite sick of my ipad going missing and or flattened when ever I wanted to use it so bought the young un a galaxy tab now the firmware is 2.2 and he needs it at least 2.3 for Skype to work. Now I've tried on a few machines to update through the samsung software but it locks up the pad as soon as it tries to write to it. Any idea where I going wrong apart from it being a samsung lol. It's a gt-p1000 it was on Vodafone no sim in it now and no ds card in it ATM I think I've covered everything. Thx in advance for all replies
