    Default Ipad TV Mirror

    Guys,

I have a chromcast but that will not allow me to mirror my Ipad to the TV or my projector so.

What alternative are available apart from buying a Apple TV just for mirroring which is a waste of money.

Don't think there is anything else other than Apple TV to mirror the iPad to be honest.

Any HTPC running Kodi should work with AirPlay:

But I don't believe this supports mirroring :/

Not watched this but take a look:

I might as well get a cheap Apple TV and use that.

    All done and dusted then.

    Thanks guys.

Fantastic, I stream my Sky, DVD player, Xbox, Chromecast and dreambox all through it via a HD switch so I can use either the TV or screen.

The Xbox on a 100" 16:9 screen is ace cant fault it but their is one drawback.

I now watch the screen more than the 55" TV I have and it has made the TV redundant of sorts.

Awesome. I have wired everything up ready, so I can quickly whack a HDMI cable into a plate on the wall. It then passes through a Soundbar (v1.4a so 3D compatible) and back to the projector.
I just hope the cabling works!!! I have plastered over it all etc.....

You had best get saving for a replacement lamp! How far away is the projector from the screen?

Mounted mine on a temporary shelf last night, it is too far away from the wall, probably by 75cm and I probably need it upside down.
I thought that you had more to play with in terms of moving the image up/down and the size of the image produced but clearly I am a noob!

The good news is all the cables I put in place and face plates with connectors work 100% fine I now have to tell her indoors that we need a ceiling mount... Just hope it does not upset her too much.
She was impressed though once it was on.
