    Default Ride London 2015

Just curious if any other members are participating in the Ride London 100 Mile ride in August? If we have a few members riding we could ride as a group ride or even make up a Digital Forums cycling shirt. In these longer events group riding is essential.

I thought about it, until I realised you need to raise over £500 and most of my mates and colleagues are tight as fuck.

I also heard it was a bit of a lottery actually getting an entry due to its popularity.

You only have to raise money if you want an entry via one of the charities. You can enter a ballot but it was massively over subscribed. A couple of lads from my cycling club tried and failed.

If I was a cyclist I'd like to do the Dunwich Dynamo one year, might be an alternative for you lot: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

I am lucky in that I will be coming from Canada and I think the organizers look at the vacation dollars coming into the UK to help the economy. I got in with the lottery and my brother got in as well however he will not be able to go. Not sure if it is possible for someone here to use his entry. If anyone knows if that is possible let me know and I will forward the email from Ride London to you.

Like others I tried and didn't get in. I'll try every year though. I did get into the velathon 2015 though which is as good a ride
