Advice Gmail stopped the smtp relay so now what?

Gmail have stopped the addition of any new smtp accounts for relay.

I have my gmail address say [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] which i added my domain to so my email now comes from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] instead of the user@gmail address.

Gmail have said all the current relays set will be unaffected but no new relays can be added without adding from a SMTP account.

any advice on what i can do now?
I don't want to buy hosting for another domain name just to send email i already have 6 packages.

Can i do it through another mail provider?

Is it not simply because SMTP has now been replaced by IMAP? I thought Google was ditching SMTP in favour of that. Don't use it myself as I just now use Gmail as my main email.

Well it looks like I'm moving from gmail now to outlook as that has allowed me to create the alias email address I wanted.
