Yes but the knives in Target Renegade were pixely (probably about 16 pixels) and therefore acceptable !

The biggest memories that brought back for me wasn't the games but the companies that made them, 'Imagine' & 'Ocean' being just two.

I'm guessing sitting there in the 80's for minutes watching the picture of those logos being written to the display is more burnt into my memory than I thought.

I've recently been watching a load of Computer Chronicles epsiodes from the 80's & early 90's - so many memories of old machines and classic games - I'm so old
