Just had a mail from another forum that someone with a HK IP had tried and failed 5 times to Cessna my account so they're being blocked for 15 mins. I've gone and change the password to something extremely obtuse and not used anywhere.

Does DF have similar? Multiple failed logins locks an IP or username out for a time?

of course I could have walked into a trap where they've taken over the BB and are trying to get people to reset passwords and harvest but this was new and quite random.

two watch forums that im on seem to be geeting hit hard at the moment
thewatchforums.co.uk and forum.tz-uk.com seems they have got into one of the sites though and hacked a few peoples accounts

only advice is change passwords and keep them different to each forum

I noticed that someone had tried to log into my Microsoft account this morning. Only thing that stopped them was 2-factor authentication.

How they got the password for this I don't know as it is randomly generated with upper and lowercase numbers and characters and over 12 characters long.

Anyway I logged in and changed my password just in case.
