What a shame, beautiful premises. I suppose if it wasn't making money/had low footfall/owners couldn't cope what other choice was there. Independent hotels etc are supposedly difficult to make sucessful. I'd buy it and make it me house.

Would cost a bit to renovate but it looks in good nick.

The problem with it is the remoteness.

No good as a pub anymore, perhaps house, houses etc but I can see a order placed on its development hence why no one has touched it.

i remember seeing that place for sale last year somewhere & i think it was selling for around 1.5 million, has a lot of land with it.

some nice bedrooms in there and lots of noises even in the day
