    Default Question of Sport audience.

Chaps, I wondered if any of you have been in the audience for QoS? I'm taking wijit junior next Tuesday and on the ticket it advises that some people start to queue up very early. As it also says they issue more tickets than they have seats this is a concern as junior doesn't finish school until 3, and we couldn't get to the studio before 5.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been in quite a few audiences and have only missed out on one which was The Cube in German as they paid you to go. I was in the Arabic Cube though which I was paid for.

At at a League of their Own you had to queue outside the gates, then a certain amount were allowed in the green room where there were beers, a wii on a big screen etc. as you entered the green room you got a raffle ticket, they then called blocks of numbers and you were led to the studio. Even at this stage there were fewer seats than people so some missed out.

For QI I turned up 4 hours early to see where we needed to queue, the idea was then to go to the pub but there were already over a hundred people there and no way was I going to miss QI so we queued for about 4 hours.

I would aim to get to any popular show at least 2 hours before you are supposed to if possible. Even if you get into the green room you might still miss out so don't get your hopes up until you are seated.

Yeah I done a few things like this and yeah they give out more tickets so that if 10% let them down they still got enough to fill the place.

Just got to go there and hope the best ;-)

How do you go about getting tickets for these shows then?
Seen a few sites years ago and tried but thought they were just scams.. QoS would be great to see!

The applause store, if you have sky they do some for their shows, the websites listed at the end of the shows, the channel websites, lost in tv. There are loads, don't pay for premium membership though, I got less tickets when I used clubcard vouchers for a premium membership.

    Thanks to evilsatan

BBC do tickets for audiences and this site does them as well.

With applause I've been to top gear and got to see Ellie Goulding when she did Sky arts

    Thanks to kroner

    There you go http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/tickets/index.html

I've been to see Strictly twice, start queuing at 10, validate tickets at midday and everytime got in not a problem. If you desperately want to get there early is my advice.

    Thanks to chesser
