Globular Springtail Photos (see darkstar - punk rockers!)
darkstar pondered over one of these in another thread, so here's a few I have taken recently of the macro photographers' favourite winter insect - the Globular Springtail.
And to show you how good my latest lens is at cropping into a photo - here's one showing the original, a half crop, a a full on crop of the same GS.

Optically excellent, easily a match - but this goes to 2:1 ratio which the Canon cannot, and at that closeness, it is very hard to use especially with flash.
