Swipe Card Question

This might sound confusing, but I have just bought a new phone from Tesco with a sim and swipe card for topping up credit. I want to change my number to my old one using a pac code. My question is my number will now be different will the Tesco swipe card still work, even though the number will be different but the same sim card. I asked the person on the phone desk and he thinks it will work, but I don't want to waste my money on his think so. Thanks for any help

Try it, find out but keep all the receipts. I'd guess the card is tied to the sim I'd number not your phone no.

Hi Blacksheep. I haven't done it yet as i still have quite a bit of credit on my old sim from Tesco. When its ended ill let you know.

Hi Blacksheep, i know its been a few weeks since i posted a query about my Swipe card on the Forum. I have now changed my Number and i had to register the card again but it does work. So the swipe card must be tied to the phones sim and not the number. Thank You
