Question A Wet Weekend in Wales

    Hey all,

We will be travelling to London over Easter for a week, leaving the kids with their grandparents and then the missus and I would like to go away for the Easter weekend somewhere in the UK. I'm quite fond of Wales and was thinking of basing ourselves in Swansea so there are things to do in the evenings, but still be well placed to do stuff by the sea e.g. long walks and nice scenery. We will have a car so mobility isn't a problem.

Any suggestions of places to stay, things to do etc..

    Thanks in advance

If you got access to a car I would suggest driving back across the Severn Bridge ;-)

My suggestion is avoid Wales at all costs
come to devon instead loads to do and see great place

We like Cardiff but tend to go there a lot for the kids to go to concerts and such definitely worth a look on your way through if you have time.
But......Welsh are arrogant bastards so speak with a Welsh accent and you will be fine
On the plus side most females under 30 in Cardiff are very fit I find my eyes wandering a lot when I'm there.

Its not the highlight of going on a bridge its more that the best thing about Wales is leaving it to come back to England ;-)
