Recoveing deleted sms texts on iphone.

Hi all

I've been asked if it's possible to retrieve deleted texts from an iphone. I've read around and googled a lot this morning about various methods such as recovering from icloud or itunes restore but i think this may not be an option for this person.

There are some bits of software claiming to be able to do this but most look suspect and probably waste of time and money.

My quesion is: does anybody have experience of this and have they successfully used any of the software out there that makes these claims.

I doubt this iphone will be jailbroken unfortunately. Do you know the name of that app plug?

I've recovered stuff from iTunes back ups before. I used something named iPhone backup explorer or similar to that anyway

Off the top off my head no ,I'll find out and post later . I'm sure there is other ways as well

I keep finding software but it invariably is junk and just installs a load of crap on the pc.
