    Dumbass Excel help required please!

I've got an excel problem that is doing my head in. I would normally with the help of google, be able to sort this kinda thing, but it's really pissing me off now.

Basically I want to have the black box filled with entries from the table up to but not over the number in cell E5.

E5 can then be changed for other numbers and the contents of the box update accordingly. It needs to start populating with the highest number, then work down the next highest until it goes over cell E5. Then populate no more.

I think this is gonna be an array formula, but can't work it out for some reason.

    Thanks in advance.

I can't open it just now, but is this not possible with conditional formatting (number not above/equal to/lower than)?

    Thanks to wijit

I have done this, pretty simple with a RANK and a Vlookup (you will need to hide some columns but I have left them visible so you can work out how I have done it

Cant upload back on here as no space but you can download the zip from www.kimba.me.uk/Headache.zip

    Thanks to akimba

Glad to be of assistance, wasn't the hardest problem I have seen but sometimes you just need the nudge/inspiration to find the solution ;-)
