NEWBURY
ULTIMA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS SILVER JUBILEE HANDICAP CHASE – 3.10PM
Paul Nicholls continues to win big races on Saturdays and he can land this with SIN BIN. A respectable novice hurdler whose form included a close second place behind Shotgun Paddy, he has shown mixed form so far over fences, but ran well at Taunton to finish second and ran well on his final start before a winter break. Having had this break he could come back stronger and off a mark of 122, he should be competitive, especially as if he was not of the ability to win off that mark, I would have thought he would have moved away from the mighty Paul Nicholls team.
DOOM BAR BARISTA BAR CHELMSFORD HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE – 4.55PM
VILLAGE VIC was a good winner at Newbury on his final start and off a mark just five pounds higher is fancied to follow up. As a bumper horse he was denied in a photo at Newbury by Shutthefrontdoor and on his hurdling debut, he finished a good second to The New One, with Thomas Crapper 21 lengths back in third. He has also finished a fair sixth in the Betfair Hurdle at Newbury behind My Tent Or Yours, so clearly likes the course and this former pointer, looks very well handicapped over fences and I expect him to win as he has the ground he likes.
